    Quicktime can not give audio

Friends, I have made .MOV file (AAC audio codec, MPEG4 video codec). I used third party software to do that. I found that the Quicktime is able to play the video smoothly but it has problem with the audio. I cannot here the audio from that. It has detected that there is an AAC audio stream in the file. If I play the same video with the help of the other media players like Windows Media Player or VLC then it plays it fine with proper video and audio. Please tell me that what can be the possible reasons for this and how can I solve this issue. This is the first time I have seen the problem with the Quicktime player and therefore I don’t have any idea about this. I will appreciate any helpful suggestion.

This is the issue with the Quick time player and not with the file. This is very unusual problem with this and I have not seen this in many cases. I am far more disposed to put the guilt for this matter at the feet of the one player not sufficiently specialist of reading the AAC data to a certain extent than the encoder which gives the fact that other players are able to read the data.

There may be the problem with the installation of the Quicktime. That may be corrupted and that is creating the problem for you. You can try to do this. First of all you will have to uninstall it completely from your computer and then again install that. See whether it solves the issue or not. If the problem persists then the setup that you are using itself be corrupted. Try to install that with another set up file. This will create new files again for this and will solve the issue.

It is possible the audio driver that you are using may be damaged or it may not be compatible with that. Uninstall the driver and install that again. See whether it makes the sounds back or not. If that does not solve the problem then you can search for the latest driver available on internet. If you found that then download and install that to your computer. This will definitely fix the issue if that is related to the driver.
