Asset management system: to track software

I am using BelManage software management tools to track software and it is doing a decent job on tracking software but the problem is that it is not catching everything which it should. I have heard that Bit9 offers a good software asset management solution. What tools/ software or you using to track software these days? Does anyone else is having any suggestion to what asset management software solution to be used.
