Saving email and attachments while uninstalling office 2010 beta

I wish to re-install office 2003, and I understand I must uninstall the 2010 beta. Is thee any way to retain all my email and attachments before I uninstall the beta software and re-load the 2003.
I'm afraid I will lose all if I try. I tried loading 2003, but outlook would not run.
    Appreciate your thoughts.

So you are sying that any jpg or pdf attachment you get won't open even if you save it to the hard drive befre opening? Are you using antivirus software to scan your incoming email? (Scanning incoming email can corrupt the attachments.) Try using "System restore" to the date where you installed the office 2003 version, or before.

I have been running the beta for about one year, and I hate to lose all my emails. Lot's have attachments, and I could download the attachments, but I have a couple thousand emails, from work and other techs, and would like a way to find the personal folder and save it so I could possibly move it back to the 2003 version once reloaded, or paste the whole personal folder with inbox and sent emails, so I don;t have to lose them all.
    Thanks,
    Alan

I am not what it claims. The files are fully compatible with Outlook 2007 Outlook 2003. In this case, simply copy the file from Outlook 2007 folder on your desktop and then covered in the destination folder in Outlook 2003. Navigate to the folder and then copy the contents to a folder on your desktop. I hope that you got the point.
