Reminder for Due Date - MS Project 2007
Hi. I have MS Project 2007, which I use for project planning. However, I also have MS Outlook 2010 to which I want to forward reminders, which can pop-up on the due date of a task or a project.
Could you please help with setting up the reminder for the task, first in MS Project 2007 and how to export it to MS Outlook 2010.
Thank you, BEN F
Re: Reminder for Due Date - MS Project 2007
I think that Setting the Reminder is an easy task. First you will have to create the tasks and resources. You will have to keep in mind that while creating the resource, append the email address field to the Resource sheet and confirm that you have entered a valid email address. Then you will have to allocate the resource to the task or tasks. Then display the Tracking toolbar, choose the task and click the Set Reminder button. After doing that it should pop up a Set Reminder dialog box where you can stipulate how long before the Start of the task you desire to add the reminder.
