Can't uninstall firefox

I am using firefox 3.5. i want to uninstall it because i dont want to use it any more. It does not uninstall from the add/remove programs. nothing happens (no message comes) when i try to uninstall it. Pl. help.

You can also try to uninstall firefox via going into the start button and from there searching for the firefox icon and below it you can see an icon indicating to uninstall it or again try to uninstall 3.5 via Add/Remove Programs first, choosing to retain customizations, bookmarks etc., (you'll see the option to do that during uninstall) and then reboot before you install any previous version of new version again.
