    DecodePointer missing in KERNEL32.dll issue while installing DirectX 9.0

    I use a desktop machine which is been working with Windows Vista. The problem is with the DirectX 9 version that is been installed to the system. When I try running the DXSETUP in the DirectX Redist (June 2010), I get the message 'The procedure entry point DecodePointer could not be located in the dynamic link library KERNEL32.dll. Please help me out for the thing that will be better and may then get sort of the issue.

    The issue could be that the application may have been appended with some bugs and it needs to be sorted out well by getting the changes to be worked. All you need to do is to remove the application that is been installed. As it is been done you then need to perform the aspect well for sorting the change that is required. It will be helpful. get the new pack of the application from Microsoft's site. Click on the link and get the download. Install the same to the system and then work out well for the issue. I hope you may then be able to update the pack as needed. So perform the task and make it process well which will be helpful. The installation should be done with compatible mode.

    Make the installation of the application well under compatible mode. All you need to do is to right click on the installer.exe file and then under the properties tab choose Windows XP compatible mode. Make the installation of the application and then check out for the issue to get sorted. You may then be able to process out for the change which is essential and the bug may then be removed as well with no compatibility problem.

    Reinstallation of the application may help out well for sorting the change and get it processed or work accordingly. It is essential and necessary that you do look out for the change which is required to perform for the aspect which will be helpful and can make the amendments to be processed and get sort as needed. Remove the application and then from the above download that is mentioned get it installed to the system. Hope this helps.

    Another way is by making the installation of the application well under safe mode. This is the only way through which no issue should then cause due to compatibility. As this mode do not have much of the advanced state feature and will let you to get the installation for the application to be done well without any problem. So do work out for the thing and make it process as require. Get the implementation to be processed and function as needed.
