Outlook 2010 retrieved email not getting deleted

Hi does anyone know and maybe can help? My Outlook2010 retrieves the emails at website and loads it into the in-boxes. Now I've found that these messages will be retrieved the providers are not deleted but obviously only be synchronized. I will now run the risk of my mailboxes (for web and hotmail) on run and I receive any emails anymore? I have tried many ways for solving this issue but nothing is working accordingly. Also not knowing the reason why it is happening. Please provide some information for Outlook 2010 retrieving email not getting deleted. Hoping that you members will help me as soon as possible.

With IMAP server automatically should leave the mail but when you sync with Outlook if it were deleted there, be removed. You can also additionally deleted the folder on the right mouse button click and processing pressures marked with headers. Test the whole time. If the 50 MB are exhausted would you send in Outlook an error message when getting. Is it IMAP or POP3 accounts? For POP3 accounts, check if the following hook is set, should be the case, please remove this:
File-> Account Settings-> Account Select-> Modify-> Advanced Settings-> Advanced-copy> of messages left on server

The majority of the Outlook user has no own server under a desk. Therefore, users are "normal" visitors to Provider hereby directed to users - whether or fee-for their mail servers, e-mail address and mailbox stores make available free of charge. Most providers offer call the so-called POP3 protocol after. The principle of POP3 is simple: Each get mail from the mail message from the server of the provider, and invites them locally in the Personal folder. These messages are then only on your computer that is available. This may be a useful retrieval technology, as long as one one computer to an e-mail mailbox access would only. But is it absolutely necessary (and in times of mobile technology revolution and more likely) from multiple devices (eg PDA, cell phone, MDA, XDA, Laptop, etc.) the e-mail account have access to, the stressed-out users with the POP3 protocol be underserved. The already retrieved messages are missing from the mailbox, a renewed call by laptop will not be possible. Because it helps a little, by connecting via a browser to Webmail. The news sleep comfortably on your desktop computer. do now-in access via POP3 Outlook the ability to copy messages on the server to keep your in: The downside: First, it is due to the different server parameters straight through Outlook frequent messaging interface problems, on the other you can see hand these copies do not message already processed, which have been read or answered.

Re: Outlook 2010 retrieving email not getting deleted

It is possible to direct the server to create your own folder structure on which the user therefore available to everywhere. It is no longer necessary to download the entire mail. You can reference to the combination of sender / subject, the header, thus pre-sort and immediately delete it without having to save you locally, especially in times of flood of spam is not to be underestimated is a security risk. You have the option of so-called flags of any message as read, deleted or replied to highlight. Also this info is available anywhere. Now ask the gentle-Outlook users, why the struggle of the POP3 vs. In view of these features are not already in favor of the IMAP protocol has been decided already IMAP: This has two main reasons: the provision of IMAP accounts designed to technically more demanding and is-especially to the participating provider's extra costs including in relation to connected space. The IMAP hype certainly has its drawbacks, however. Since free mail providers like YouTube or Gmail with free IMAP offers lure, fun is the IMAP often instability and program flow clouded by. This is not so much to the e-mail clients, but is due to the fact that the IMAP technology - to function reliably for you - but some server-side effort requires that a free e-mail providers now can not afford time and wants. The second - from many users felt this way - disadvantage lies in the Outlook folder tree. While all POP3 accounts personal folders are stored in one, Outlook places each IMAP account, an additional, separate personal folder for. This will not just view the folder list is from within and to other e-mail clients (eg Thunder Bird) standardized long ago.
