I would suggest you to go for the .NET Framework 4 web installer package, just download and install the software to your computer, during the installation it will required the connection of the internet. It provides the “Common Language Runtime (CLR)” and the “Base Class Library (BCL)”. It will improve the performance of the office 2010, it provides the support of multicore technique, also the collection of the garbage in the back hand. You can download the .NET framework from HERE

I had the similar issue with my computer regarding the new Office 2010. After that install the latest version of .NET framework, which is offers the new type of the memory file with some numeric type. It is very easy to debug the problem in a very simple way. There is a multiple type of technique to debug the issue, basically for the 64 bit and code contracts. It compromise with the Visual Basic and C# languages. Having the features of the dynamic dispatch, implicit line continuations. This is really works to overcome from my problem. Try it, hope this will help you.

Having the similar issue, I installed the latest version of the .NET framework but this results nothing. My computer is a 64-bit system architecture, and I installed the Microsoft Office 2010 Plus. After getting the error 2908, I did a restore of the software, also after the installation reboot the system. I did this one more than one time. I think there is something other issue. Can any one tell me the other solution for the problem?

This is atypical type problem which you mentioned in the post. It is a sharing based error. I found that it always happens in the MS Office 2010, it also occurs during the upgrade of the software. To fix the issue first you make sure that all the instances of the MS Office 2010 should be close; also check in the task manger is there any instance of MS Office 2010 is running or not, if yes then stop this. Report the error information to the Antivirus program interface, and disable the program for a while. Then go for the online solution, there a high speed of internet service is required.
