    MS project delay planning

I was wondering anyone could help with a query I have.
I need to include a task (Reposition machine) in the schedule in MS project that will require all other work to stop for its duration. This task has a predecessor and its start date could vary. How can I plan for this delay to all tasks?

    Re: MS project delay planning

You can use either the original baseline bar and the current bar on the GANTT or see if you can create a special bar by using user_start_date fields filtered on critical activities in conjunction with a global change. You could populate the start date with the baseline start/finish, and the finish date with the actual/planned start/finish.
