Links not opening in Outlook 2003 under Windows 7

I have a Hp Pavilion laptop and the problem is with the Outlook 2003 application that I use to make work with the thing. The outlook link is not getting opened and I do not know what could have been the thing which is causing the problem. I use Windows 7. Please help me out so that I can work well with the links that I have received via mails. It will be a great help.
