Hey everyone,
I hope someone out there can please help me as I am going crazy trying to work out how to use JPEGsnoop. My hard drive was recently damaged and I lost a folder of photos that I had mistakeningly forgot to backup (I thought I had but hadn't). I paid someone to recover what they could from the hard drive and they managed to get the folder back but when I was going through the images I realised that over 400 were corrupted. If you go onto the website, http://www.impulseadventure.com/phot...peg-photo.html, and see the examples of damaged images - mine pretty much have the same types of damage. An example of one of mine is located as a word doc at the website: http://cid-cf4464a8c42446de.office.l...e.aspx/.Public
From what I can gather - this JPEGsnoop program should help fix corrupt jpegs. But I have put the images into the program and nothing happens. So there has to be more than just dropping the image into the window - right??? I really need to fix a few photos that are from friends weddings. I feel like an idoit and would like some help please!!! I do not know computers at all and is probably the reason why I'm in this mess to start with.
If you need any questions answered to help me get through this please reply to this thread and I will get back to you as soon as possible.
Cheers
