VideoLan Stutters while playback in Mac OS X

I have installed VLC player to the desktop which is been working with Mac OS X. The problem is that I am not able to play the video well to the system. I do not know what could have caused the problem. Please do help me out so that I can make the application or the game to be processed which will be essential. Hope to get a better solution and work well as needed.

• Then you need to Click on "All" which would be at the bottom
• Now navigate to "Input/Codecs" then to the "Access modules" and lead to "MMap"
• Then Activate "Use file memory mapping"
• Save the settings and restart VLC.
