smile When I use Sound Recorder I get an error

Note I am using a Guitar Hero microphone it worked on my computer but not my Libraries computer here is the error I got:

Not enough memory available to complete this operation. Quit one or more applications to increase available memory, and then try again.

Do I need DirectX software to be able use this?

Note here is a download of my voice recording does it sound normal?

You might not need to install Direct X but this is due to the amount of physical memory which does not goes upto 2GB. For that you might need to adjust the settings for that. The issue occurs when there is a limitation in the design of the sound application which you are using. For that press ctrl + alt + del and in the task manager. In that go to performance and under physical memory look for the ram is available. You might need to add more.
