Need handy software for word processing

I am looking for a good word processing software to type my classes. I tried Word, Open Office, Works, abiword, etc. In fact I think that there is no other that would fit what I want but you never know, I ask anyway. I want a software where you can quickly write formulas, making boxes in which to write, to make diagrams etc. Is there any other such word processing software?

You can do all that with Word (probably Ooo too can do this), what do you want more? Let it do what you want in one click? Word 2010 provides an array of new and improved tools that help you look like a design pro and make your important content stand out.

It depends on the version of Word. The part concerning the formulas was not very efficient but it has been improved, and same for Open Office that does not have a perfect version, but still has much improved compared to before.

To make a complex document, it takes more than software:

- The reference to write mathematical formulas is latest and its many software schedules are more or less compatible.

- To make diagrams, Visio is often used, but there are also other programs.

In any case, it is much easier these days, there are about ten years ago.

If you have a laptop then there is a good news for you. Some laptops (and might be yours to have it) include Stylus which allows you to directly import the drawings onto Word or OpenOffice. You can even remake the graph, formula, etc. It is a better alternative I suppose.
