Not working Quick Launch on new HP tm2s

In my task bar, my Quick Launch toolbar does not work . I'm trying to activate it within the parameters of the taskbar , it will not activate. I right click and " open interface Hercules Xtra Controller " and nothing happens, In addition, the application version is good is the 2.9.0.0 is installed. I uninstall and reinstall my CD driver, but again nothing has changed. Please help.

The solution is:
1) Start / Run / type regedit and click OK .
2) make the following key and well positioned on Winlogon
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows NT \ CurrentVersion \ Winlogon
3) on the right side of the screen select Userinit , right click , edit
Enter the following value: C : \ Windows \ System32 \ userinit.exe,
(Do not forget the semicolon at the end ! )
(If windows is installed on a different hard drive or in a different directory change the value to reflect this difference . Example : Windows installed on drive D in the winnt directory , return value = D: \ WINNT \ System32 \ userinit . exe )
4) exit regedit.
5) reboot, retest.

If you want to recreate the shortcut you to access the Windows desktop, follow these steps: In Explorer Windows , copy a file named Office \ Documents and Settings \ Autre_Nom_Utilisateur \ Application Data \ Microsoft \ Internet Explorer \ Quick Launch to \ Documents and Settings \ UserName \ Application Data \ Microsoft \ Internet Explorer \ Quick Launch .
Another solution
1) In a new Notepad document , copy and paste the following :

Command = 2
IconFile = explorer.exe , 3
[ Taskbar]
Command = ToggleDesktop
2) Save your file by this name: Show Desktop.scf .
3 ) Save the file in \ windows \ system or where you wish .
4 ) With the right mouse button click on the file and on the Create Shortcut .
5) Place the shortcut you created directly in the Quick Launch bar using the technique of dragging and dropping .
Note You can delete the shortcut but not the file Desktop.scf Show .

Right click on the toolbar , then Toolbars and Toolbar New. In File type:

- Then click the button to select a folder
- The Quick Launch toolbar is added
- Right click on the toolbar and deselect the text and show Show Title
- Move the Quick Launch bar to the right of the Start Menu
- Select the size you want , then right click on the toolbar and Lock the Taskbar.

* In the folder c : \ documents and settings \ your name \Users \ applications \ Microsoft \ Internet Explorer \, rename the file "Quick launch " in Quick launch
* Creates a new folder named Quick Launch and copy in this new
folder shortcuts in old folder.
* Click the right mouse button in the toolbar and request the display
the Quick Launch toolbar.
