Tortoise SVN 1.6.2 application issue

I have installed Tortoise SVN 1.6.2 application to the Windows 7 system. I do not know what could have been the problem but it is not able to work well or process for the same. I do not know what could have been the issue. I am not able to get the desired change to be processed or get the issue to be worked. ope to get a better solution.
