    WmiPrvSE.exe 32 is using 50% CPU on Windows 7 Professional 64 bit

Hello, guys I hope you can solve the problem from the log, almost wmiprvse.exe file (which I think is a system file if I remember correctly) take 100% cpu and sometimes fluctuates down to 30 40 or 50, but cpu always 100% usage remains! Already done scan with Kaspersky connecting the hard drive to an ide-usb adapter to an uninfected computer and installed kaspersky, found 1 solo virus.

This situation indicates that the process is legitimate Windows (wmiprvse.exe) and must be run from the \ System32. If it were done from another directory, it would Malware. Check the name carefully, however wmiprvse. Exe is appears as worm i think you should try to get this virus removed using Microsoft Security Essential.

A time when the executable is run from the C: \ windows \ system32 \ wbem \ wmiprvse.exe. Now I cut and pasted on the desktop, and ran sfc / scannow to see if maybe if you re-create! However you cut the network and acts the same, not a network service. It is still in system32 wbem folder in this pc! Security Task Manager how!

To solve the problem, I followed the following steps
    1. Restart in safe mode
    2. Find all files with the following names and delete:
      • Wmiprvse
      • Wmiaprvse
      • Wmiprvsd
      • HKEY-Msiwin File-ending _up.exe
      • Files starting avsev
    3. In the registry, delete the keys:
      • HKEY-LOCAL-MACHINE/SOFTWARE/MICROSOFT/WINDOWS/CURRENT_VERSION/RUN/BM370bcf3d
      • HKEY-LOCAL-MACHINE/SOFTWARE/MICROSOFT/WINDOWS/CURRENT_VERSION/RUN-SERVICE /?? check kernel
    4. Restart
