HP PhotoSmart C309a locks when copying

I will change of HP C309a , I downloaded the software HP Photosmart Essential 3.5 images . It takes good account of my photos but when I run it is slow to it, blocks to the home page and I must intervene with the Windows task manager to close it because it stops responding . I tried to uninstall and reinstall but the problem remains , the uninstall is not complete as it gets to the relocation of the library photos ( about 2000) and my first entry . I also visited the HP support , I made various updates , but I found nothing to correct my problem .

In any case, download the latest drivers on HP's site. If ever the link does not display the page, do a search on the HP site with the word and chose the C4180 drivers for MacOSX. You download them but you do not uninstall! Before installing them, you must uninstall the old drivers. SnoN you risk problems. look in the manual how to uninstall them. If it looks like my HP printer (2510), is in the folder Applications -> Hewlett-Packard -> HP Uninstaller.
