re: MED-V Image Upload Error Details: Value does not fall within the expected range.

I thin that this issue can be caused by BITS Feature not installed on Windows Server 2008. To resolve it, I would like to suggest:

    1. Install BITS Feature for Windows Server 2008.

    2. In the IIS Manager, on the properties for the virtual directory in IIS, enable BITS uploads.

    But it doesn´t work althought.

    Any Idea?

Is anybody there who can help me?

Re: MED-V Image Upload Error Details: Value does not fall within the expected range.

You get this error in spite of an existing file not on the image distribution server. In addition, you will notice 0 byte file markers (labeled bitssrv_{GUID}) in the MED-V Server images directory. This is caused by the directory not having CREATOR OWNER listed in the NTFS permissions list for the directory with its appropriate permissions. To resolve this issue, add in the CREATOR OWNER account in the permissions list for the local directory being used by the IIS virtual directory for the MED-V server-based images. More information can be found here.

Have you tried uninstalling the cluster setup from the nodes, remove the dependencies between the physical disk resources, and then install the cluster again. Also currently the serversettings.exe (MED-V Server Configuration Manager) is not supported on Windows Server 2008 R2 X64 edition. The only supported way is to modify the serversettings.xml file located in C:\Program Files\Microsoft Enterprise Desktop Virtualization\Servers.

    I have Server 2008 R2 x64...

How must I modify the serversettings.xml file?

You can manually edit the ServerSettings.xml file to configure the MED-V Server by reading from here. Usually, the default image repository is located in C:\Med-V Images. If you elect to use an Image Distribution Server, the default location for MED-V server images is in the C:\MED-V Server Images directory.

I have tried it... but it stil doesn´t work... And the serversettings.exe (MED-V Server Configuration Manager) works fine I think... But now I´ve found an error in the File Services :

    Could this be my Problem?
