Burn Video Files into a DVD

I am facing the problem of burning DVD. I am using Nero as the burning software, but it does not burns the DVD. It usually says that it can not burn the DVD. Sometimes it burns the DVD, but the DVD after burning does not play the files in the DVD player. Can anyone suggest me where I am going wrong. What should I do to overcome this? Please help.

Re: Burn Video Files into a DVD

Nero has proved its worth in the disc copying software companies in the industry. Burning a DVD using Nero takes little time but is not difficult because of its user friendly interface and navigation design. Just follow these simple steps and you will be able to burn the DVD without any problem.
  1. Load the Nero 9 program by clicking on the desktop shortcut.
  2. Click "Copy Disc" on the left hand menu.
  3. Select the sources drive that you will use to copy the disc.
  4. Insert the DVD that you wish to copy into the disc tray
  5. Click the red button on the bottom right hand side of the screen that says "Copy."
  6. Remove the DVD disc and insert a blank DVD-R disc into the disc tray. Click "Load" and then the red button that says "Burn."
  7. Remove the disc from the disc tray and click "OK."
Now I think that you know how to burn the DVD, so go and give this a try.

Re: Burn Video Files into a DVD

I think that you should use some other burning software. I would suggest you to use AVS Video Converter. AVS Video Converter can convert Video between almost any formats. It does it within minimum time. First of all download and install AVS Video Converter. Then run AVS Video Converter and select your input video file. Then set up the conversion parameters. Also do not forget to set up a proper video output file path. Convert your DVD files. Finally Burn your resulting DVD onto a disc

Re: Burn Video Files into a DVD

Can you do one thing, please try reinstalling Nero. I think at the time of installation you must have unchecked something that may be causing you this problem. Yes it is true that it takes more time compared to others. Nero is really heavy on system, and installation is very late. So you can also go for the AVS Video Converter. Try doing this and reply me in the next post.

Re: Burn Video Files into a DVD

I think that you are burning a data DVD. Regarding the format, then your video format should be in .AVI, divx or .MPEG. Also use Nero Vision. Nero Vision converts the videos, into the formats that will run in all the DVD players. Try writing at a low speed on the DVD. Probably 4X would be great. The disv that you are using should be DVD-R or DVD+R.
