Microsoft Office 2007 wont read in 2003

I was a regular user of Microsoft office and i have used 2003 version for a longer period of time,as Microsoft launched the new version 2007 i started to use it. But the problem is that i am not able to save my old Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel files in the newer version of Microsoft office 2007.So what is the problem and how can i solve it please reply with an answer.

Microsoft has launched office 2007, which indeed is very much effective than office 2003.The difference between them is that the layout are different.the optional tools in 2007 version are more effective than the previous ones.In order to read a file of 2003 version you have to save the file with the format 97-2003 which is there.just type in the file then go to the file menu then select save as option and then save the file with format 97-2003 in the office 2007 version.it will save the file and you will be able to read.

1. Go to the office file menu
2. Go to file menu
3. Select 'Save as'
4. Save the with format 97-2003.

Then the file will be open able in the office 2003.

If you want to open the Microsoft’s word or excel files 2003 with the word or excel file of the 2007,so the most important thing you have to do is make a file association.
