Most of the webcam either usb or integrated in the laptop are plug and play. They do not require any third party special drivers. You just have to use a web cam application to use it. In your cause if you are not able to use it then go in Device Manager. See whether you can see the camera listed on it or not. There must be some kind of warning sign on the same.
