Issues with Google Chrome while uploading files

I use a desktop machine and the problem is with the web browser that is Google Chrome. The problem is that when I upload some files it gets crash. I have no idea for the same. Please do help me out for getting the issue to be sorted and perform that is needed. It will be better to get the things to be processed and work. Hope to get a better solution and process as needed. The system is been working with Windows Xp.
