Error issue with Google Chrome Profile

I have a Dell inspiron laptop and it is been working with Windows 7. I have installed application that is Google Chrome as the web browser. The problem is that I get an error message as "Your profile could not be opened correctly. Some features may be unavailable. Please check that the profile exists and that you have permission to read and write its contents." This happened as I was browsing my history page and suddenly I got an electricity failure and when I rebooted it got this message. Please help.
