Unable to convert office home and student trial to full version?

I have Microsoft Office Home and Student trial edition which I got from one of my friend. I have brought this edition to see how it works and whats so special about this edition. Now since I liked this office suite, I want to convert it to full version but the problem is that I am unable to do so. I tried a lot of things but nothing works. I have the product key but how should I reactivate it?

If you have the license key of Office Home and Student edition, uninstall your current version of office from your computer. You may need to restart your computer for the uninstallation to take effect. After that, install it once again. You will be asked to provide the product key, provide the information and see if this works.

I tried the above suggestion but it didn't worked. I also went to Microsoft website and found nothing helpful. I am always getting the message asking for the activation. I am unable to solve this until now and the worst part is that I am not getting the windows to read and agree to the lic agreement?

Are you sure you have the trial version of Office 2007 Home and Student? Just check it by launching Office 2007, go to Help menu, click About Microsoft Office Home and Student 2007. You must be getting the product information appearing at the top of the window. It should be something like "Microsoft Office Home and Student 2007 Trial". If it is then you need to activate your office suite, whereas if it isn't there then you there should be some other problem for getting that message.

    1. Click the Office Button.
    2. Select Options.
    3. Select Resources.
    4. Select Activate Office and follow the wizard henceforth. .
