There are different way to take control remotely .
1 ) On XP stations which are used : the client TSE classic (unless you need the remote user sees you do manip ) . It should enable remote use on the remote .
2 ) On stations do not have this functionality you must install a program for handling remote VNC .
Then , do not forget to properly configure the firewall to allow the protocols they used these applications

When you are assured that the three conditions mentioned above are fulfilled it 's left you send an invitation for the rescues you ! Two means are at your disposal, you can go through MSN clicking activity in the conversation window with the someone who will help or go to the menu START click aid and support. You just have to click on Remote Assistance and choose by what means you want send an invitation.

If you use MSN MESSENGER and your counselor is online assistance will be started immediately after accepting the warning messages that it would take control of your computer. If you choose Outlook you must enter the email address of the person to help you and will receive a message with an attachment containing the invitation. In Using this mode you must also define a password and an expiration date you should contact the administrator before assistance to prevent another caring person does evil take control of your computer. When your friend will receive e - mail , it can then take control of your computer and make his speech.

The two features of Windows XP have many commonalities level of connection mode , but they have not all the same Features: Remote Assistance is used to give assistance on a remote computer , while the desktop distance is rather used to gain access to her office a another position for someone who wants to work from home by example. Specifically in a remote desktop session , the position to which access is locked and can not see the screen and what the person located at a distance. Moreover Remote Assistance has an interface particularly when the Remote Desktop gives you full access to the remote computer and all the features of Windows XP .
