I have removed all the network cards that Windows was created to force x time uninstalling the program just installed Netgear and the driver of the chipset which is based on the map NetGeat WG311v3 . It Marvell 88w8335 Libertas model (driver hereTake the Libertas chip : MRV - 8335). The card is then seen simply as a wireless network adapter , Windows just to manage the connection to your network and everything works for the better, And besides, you do not laugh at the interface of Netgear.

I wish you do not forsake your thousands of consumers who, like me on the Internet , complain your failure to provide a driver that runs under Windows Seven for your wonderful card WG311v3 . Around the world, we encounter the same problem with your driver is Vista , which is not recognized as signed by Seven . The only way I found to run the card is , and remains until further order, press the F8 key frantically at Windows startup , and launch the unsecured mode to disable signature verification. Why not? But I do not " drunk "to have to do this every boot. I tried everything , even sign up myself in the driver add me as a trusted root certificate in my system . Without doubt, you 'd rather buy your very last card, but no I would not give , you got me to sign your driver is Vista , and have them run on windows 7, or write a new one .

For Espon except I found that my printer is split into two multifoction ( printer and scanner functions are separated ). To map Netgear Wi -Fi it worked very well under Vista 64 bit and it does not work after the up -grade Windows. This would seem to be the driver that is not signed. I bought this card along with my computer in September 2009. I found a link that describes how the pilot signed this card, but not very computer specialist I hesitate to do so for fear of making a false manip .

The compatibility mode does not THAT software and drivers, the drivers are to be maintained by the OEM and it is often better not to " too " move these drivers to sell you new equipment. Then , for the XP mode , it is a "convenience " reserved .. yes and no, because you can do almost the same thing for free . You download Virtual PC 2007 SP1 ( free) And in it , you can create virtual images of your old Microsoft OS ( subject to license the OS ) to use older software not compatible with Windows 7.

For your WG311v3 I can help you:dl the package you ndisgtk from ubuntu, you install it and you will get an increasingly wireless tab in System Administration. you collect your driver and the fichier.INF . SYS and you install them, you installed wifi radar and it will automatically recognize your connection. I tell you to dl the package ndisgtk you just click and you collect the package then you put it on your Ubuntu desktop and you click you will have an additional tab in the application system is wireless is already here and if you look at a pilot and if the hardware is recognized device manager you have the gear s down the list marvel wg311v3 .
