Problem of Biometric Framework with Windows 7

We just had the problem on a freshly installed ThinkPad T500 with Windows 7 that will be used the Authentic Fingerprint Reader with the Lenovo / ThinkVantage fingerprint. It was always getting the error that no fingerprint reader would be connected. Also I am not knowing anything about the Biometric Framework.!! So I am requesting to all members over there, to provide some solutions along with the details. Any information about the Biometric Framework would be useful for me.

Now the local user could read the menu in the Control Panel of Windows Biometric Framework, their fingerprints, and deposit. If the user did this with a domain account but it did not work, because it would not be allowed. The solution for your problem would be like this :
For the advantage of others investigating this problem: login domain is fingerprint must be explicitly enabled. Go to Control Panel> Biometric Devices> Change biometric settings and check mark the "Allow users to log on to a domain using their fingerprints”.

In some cases there is, according to Microsoft probably the stop error in Windows 7 and Server 2008 R2 using a fingerprint reader that uses the new Windows Biometric Framework. And now the Microsoft now has a hotfix in KB article, so you can make use of it. Also you will have to keep in mind that you install Windows an application that uses the Biometric Framework (WBF) to access the device.

Usually recognize people we know looking at their faces and sometimes their voices or their writing or the way they move. In the past, human scrutiny was the only way to verify the identity of travelers who moved from one country to another, visitors trying to enter private areas or clients who wanted to withdraw money from banks liquid. This is no longer realistic given the increase in international travel, the need to ensure safety in the workplace and the extent of electronic banking, among many other changes that have experienced our daily lives. Currently there is a new way to verify the identity using automated methods and technologies of information and communication technologies (ICTs) to recognize individuals based on their physical traits or behavior, it is a field known as biometrics. That is the theme of the new report ITU Monitoring Technology on "Biometrics and standards"

Biometrics now applies to electronic passports, as well as for recognition at ATMs of banks and even to prevent snuff vending machines selling cigarettes to children. In each case, we measure some combination of the inherent characteristics and are automatically compared to templates stored in a file or a database to verify the adaptation. The measured characteristics are often physical but can also be behavioral, such as key sequence to enter a word or phrase. With the widespread acceptance of biometrics for identity verification car, especially in an open network environment, the challenges posed by privacy, reliability and security of biometrics are becoming increasingly complicated and demanding.
