When I do a search for codecs I find that I've accumated 195 files!
Worst thing is I can't delete them either all together or individually!
My video and audio is yuck and I want to start fresh but so far no luck!

Yes it is sometime very hectic job to fix the codec file issue. For that the best thing I will recommend you is to use Codec-Sniper. Codec-Sniper is a handy little software that lets you view all the codecs stored on your machine. The list provides the names of the various codecs as well as the corresponding file and its location on the hard drive, then you can delete the codecs of your choice. Very useful in case of conflict.
