MS Project Incorrect Finish Date Occuring for Non-Standard Calendar

Somehow I have changed a global setting; at least that is what I think I have done because it is effecting all my MS project schedules including new ones.

I have projects that require resources be assigned either to the standard calendar (M-F) or to a custom calendar, 7 Day Calendar. The custom calendar is for resources who work 7 days a week. I enter task 1 for 10 days for a resource that uses the standard calendar. Task 1 properly ends on a Friday. Then I enter task 2 for 1 day with a resource assigned to the 7 Day Calendar. I want this task to occur on Saturday. Task 1 is the predecessor for Task 2. However, the task finishes 3 days later; even if I enter a duration of 1 minute. Below is the result.

Task Dur Start Finish Pred Resource
    Summary 10d 08-02-10 8:00 AM 08-16-10 8:01 AM
    Task 1 10d 08-02-10 8:00 AM 08-13-10 5:00 PM FR
    Task 2 1m 08-14-10 8:00 AM 08-16-10 8:01 AM 5 SA

I have checked the calendars, re-entered durations, made Saturday a working day (but this messes up the 5 day resources in my bigger project schedules), and verified the Calendar Options as 8hrs/day, 40hrs/week, 20days/month. But I am stumped.

Any assistance and guidance is greatly appreciated.

Microsoft Project Server Setup creates registry entries in the \Datasets and \Services folders in the following location:

    \Datasets
The \Datasets folder holds information about where the data for Microsoft Project Server resides. Sub-folders include \Application, \EnterpriseDatabase, \STS, \ViewsFileDrop, and \ViewsSchedulingDatabase.
