Photoshop CS5 "Help" function not working - Adobe Air error message?

I have Installed Photoshop CS5, reflection and everything was working fine, however when I am trying to click on Photoshop Help then I am getting an error message hat states "Adobe Air - This installation of this application is damaged. Try re-installing..". I tried to reinstall first Adobe Air and then uninstalled and re-installed Photoshop CS5, however the problem still remains. When I first attempted to use the Help function it attempted to upgrade or something and for several reason this failed. Please help me.

Can you try to tell us whether there are other standalone AIR apps running in your computer, incase you have installed any others or you can also try to obtain one from this link - http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/marketp...arketplaceid=1. This will let us know about a CS5 specific problem compared to a general problem with Adobe Air where you are getting this error. You can also try to follow the procedure given for uninstalling and reinstalling Adobe Air from this link - http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/403/kb40315...ions_adobe_air

First of all uninstall Adove Help application by going to Application folder > Adobe > Adobe Help. After that delete this directory - username/library/preferences/chc.4875E02D9FB21EE389F73B8D1702B320485DF8CE. Now empty the tras and manually update the application with this link - http://www.adobe.com/support/chc/. Now select Photoshop in Step 1 and then click the Install badge in Step 2 and ensure to select Open in the installation dialog box to fully update the application.

If this doesnt work then you can try to ask the Adobe support team for a working fix. In the meantime, you can get the online Photoshop CS5 HTML help content which is available at this url - http://help.adobe.com/en_US/photosho...ing/index.html. There is also a PDF of the complete Photoshop CS5 help that you can download from the below link as well:
