AppendPDF to amend pdf files

Hello,
Here is my problem, I am using four to five pdf files differently. Now I need to append / amend them. Amending them will be much more easier for me as it will be all in one place like situation. I have heard about the appendpdf, is this software good and how does this software works? Also, if you know any other software for doing the same job then please let me know. Thank you.
