Adobe Audition issues

Hello,
I am planning to use adobe audition, but when I try to installed it, the installation gives me some error. I have no idea what is the error all about. Also, please explain me what are the uses of audition, so that I can get explored to all the features. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

First download the file, then you will be with a ".zip" file, use the operating system or a utility such have WinZip or PKZIP to access the file's contents. Need help with downloading? See our Downloading Help documents.

NOTE: To prevent the removal of predefined effects created by the user, make sure that DirectX effects are disabled before installing this patch.

1. Launch Audition 3.0 in Edit view.
2. Click Effects> Disable DirectX effects (if the menu item says "Enable DirectX effects, close hearing and proceed to step 4).
3. Once disabled DirectX effects, close Audition 3.0.
4. Extract the downloaded ZIP file in a temporary location.
5. Run the file "Patch 3.0.1 Audition Setup.exe" and follow the instructions on the screen to complete the installation.

First time I have for the pro cs3 installed, and I just put in a trial, Audition 3. No problems with installation or operation, but since first pro cs3, so I want to export the sound to hear in the export menu to hearing, the row is grayed out and unusable. Is this normal, or am I spent next to something?

If you want to talk about what Adobe calls "Dynamic Link" in CS3, Sound booth this only works with, not with Audition. Therefore the following Premium CS3. Now, you can always export the audio only to a wav file (File> Export> Audio) and open this file in Audition3. In Audition3, you can also open a video to change the sound (in the Multitrack view).
