When I import my swf file into adobe after effects everything transfers and plays fine except the embedded motion files. Any help? Swf plays fine in flash, in swf, etc, but wont transfer embedded motions. Really frustrating. Thank you for your time.

I think that you can try to export as either Quicktime or a PNG sequence and then import that into Flash. Quicktime tends to be best for quality/filesize and QT+alpha works great in flash8. Go to composition>make movie and you will get alot of options. click “uncompressed” (i think) and there you can change the settings to QT or PNG.
