Torrent does not connects to peers

I am using uTorrent and trying to download the torrent and it says that 2(15), and under peers it says about 10(650). There are many other peers available to get connected but it is not connecting and because of which i am getting the download speed of just 0.5-1.5 kb/s. How do i make this downloading faster?

I think it also depends on an uploads which you have allowed on your uTorrent according to which it would be pairing your computer system with the other systems. If you have restricted your system then it is obvious that your system would not be able to connect with an all of the peers which are available on the uTorrent.

According to me an Internet speed also matter when you download anything from the torrent. Actually if your computer does not have enough internet speed then it would be bit difficult to distribute the bandwidth provided by your internet connection to all the peers which can get connected to your computer. Actually it is the capability of your network that from how much peer it can grab the data and finally it compresses into one file.

Re: Torrent does not connects to peers

When no peer has all parts of a file and no lens is present in the swarm, all participants are stuck with an incomplete file, since no one to send the missing pieces. In such cases, a user (presenter) with a complete file can connect the swarm for the missing pieces are transferred. This is called replay (reseeding). The applicant agrees to keep his client open for a while after completing its downlink in order to add longevity of the stream, provided, of course, a generous soul offers to rebroadcast the missing files.

A sharing ratio is the ratio between the amount downloaded upstream divided by that of the downstream. The statistics are for generally the current session and does not cover the history of downloaded file. A ratio of 1.0 means that you have downloaded both downstream and upstream.
The higher the ratio, the greater your contribution. Some clients display the value "oo" which represents infinity. In such a case, you do not download anything since downstream you have the complete file. Thus, everything you post input is represented by a ratio of infinity. Note that the sharing ratio is an estimate only displayed for your convenience and does not affect client.

Do not get confuse the ratio displayed by your client with one that is controlled the track. Some sites require a minimum ratio dictated by Regulations exclusive to the site. Any breach of etiquette this site may cause a temporary or permanent banishment, according case. Please read the rules of the sites you visit, particularly those which you must subscribe. Those just are generally more interesting.

Re: Torrent does not connects to peers

When you run a torrent, your computer communicates with a tracker and asks for the list of peers from a swarm contact. Periodically, during the download, your computer reports this track to pass the state of your download (downstream and upstream) and to evaluate the remaining time and available Current (stop, pause, resume, end).
When a track goes off-line, it becomes impossible to connect to run the torrent.
