    If your application data folder (this folder is under your Documents and Settings folder) is redirected to an external source, you will encounter synchronization failures. Install ActiveSync 4.5 if you encounter this problem.
    You may experience synchronization failures if you are synchronizing when Microsoft Outlook is offline or if Outlook can not connect to Microsoft Exchange Server. Install ActiveSync 4.5 if you encounter these problems. We recommend that you have Microsoft Outlook in connected mode when you perform a sync with your device.

    You need to verify the implementation of the latest version of ActiveSync
    To verify that you are using the latest version of ActiveSync on your desktop, click About Microsoft ActiveSync menu ? (Help) Microsoft ActiveSync. The version of ActiveSync is shown at the top of dialog About Microsoft ActiveSync.If you are not running the latest version of Microsoft ActiveSync, download and install it from the Microsoft website at the following address:
    http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobi...c/default.mspx

    You need to verify the execution of a version of Microsoft Office Outlook support. Make sure you run Microsoft Office Outlook 2003, Microsoft Outlook 2002 or Outlook 2000. In addition, make sure that a backup of Microsoft Outlook is stored in a file. Pst or on a computer running Microsoft Exchange Server.The third Outlook connectors are not supported. Feedback from customers indicate that MSN and Hotmail are working well, contrary to Lotus Notes.

    If you have already synchronized your device with the desktop using the current partnership, but the sync was interrupted unexpectedly, follow these steps:
    1. Make sure that Outlook is working correctly. To do this, open Outlook, then click the following folders to verify that the component contains data:
    * Mail
    * Contacts
    * Calendar
    * Tasks

    2. Re-create the partnership. To do this, follow these steps:
    1. Remove the device from its docking station, then close ActiveSync.
    2. Delete the existing partnership between ActiveSync and the computer.
    3. Place the device in its cradle, then establish a new partnership.

    Synchronization should now succeed.

    Identify and correct potential problems in Outlook and Outlook data files. To do this, follow these steps:
    1. In Outlook, click ? (Help), then Detect and Repair.
    2. Use the default settings. Click Start.
    3. Once the process is complete, click Sync ActiveSync.
    If synchronization still can not be done, it's probably a problem specific to your computer or your Outlook configuration.

    The 85010014 error is an HTTP 500 error (Internal error) returned by the engine AirSync Desktop Engine. This engine is used to synchronize Contacts, Calendar, Tasks and Mail between devices Windows Mobile 5.0 and ActiveSync 4.1. As is usually the case on an HTTP server, code 500 error corresponds to errors which are difficult to classify. Therefore, this error may be caused by various conditions on your computer. In addition, it may be due to several simultaneous conditions. In this case, multiple resolutions may be required. The best way to resolve this error is to examine the file Wceslog.log to determine when ActiveSync fails.
