drivers for Pavilion DV2 with ATI 3410

I have just bought a new HP Pavilion DV2 netbook which has been included with an ATI 3410 GPU. I was having the windows vista previously which has been replaced by the Windows 7 operating system. It was giving 1240 on 3dmark06 with the vista operating system which was about 950. Does anybody has any idea about this? It is also running an Athlon Neo CPU.

I think you have not uninstalled the drivers of your windows vista operating system which must be showing this kind of results about your video card on 3dmark06. I think you should firs uninstall the drivers for your windows vista operating system then you may go installing the latest drivers for the windows 7 operating system but keep in mind that it would be good if you get the driver according to your netbook.

This seems to be the effect of an improper driver installed on your windows 7 operating system. As you have not mentioned the version of your windows operating system it could be also the reason for this as if you have installed driver of 32 bit version on 64 bit windows version then there could be this kind of problems. I suggest you to check for the same on your laptop.

I have found one website from where you can download all the latest version of the drivers for your ati cad and they have provided the drivers for all the types of windows operating system so please make sure about the your one before installing it. You should go to the radarsync.com where they have given this drivers in the download section.

I suggest you to search for the driver irrespective of operating system which you are using but keep in mind that the which version of operating system you are using whether it is a 64 bit or a 32 bit operating system. Just search the drivers for Pavilion and not DV2 which would be okay for using it on your laptop.
