ATI Catalyst 10.1 crash with Adobe Flash Player 10.1.51.66

I have recently installed ATI catalyst 10.1 and Adobe Flash Player 10.1.51.66 on my computer. My problem is whenever I try to play any Flash video from YouTube or DailyMotion the ATI display drivers stops working. This causes my computer to freeze. I am forced to restart my computer in order to get it back. Could you help me out to figure out the actual cause of the problem? Is it Adobe or ATI that is resulting me in system freeze problem?

Never heard about this problem. Anyways which motherboard are you using? Did you tried updating the BIOS? Also provide us the complete specs of your computer. It will help us to explain you things in a much better way.

I have Windows 7 7600 Build installed on my computer. It has Intel Core 2 Q6600 CPU @ 2.40GHz, 4 GB RAM, 8 GB Virtual Memory and 4 GB Page File. I don't think it has much to do with memory availability. I have not tried yet updating the BIOS but will do that and see if that helps.

There are several possibilities to these problem. Adobe Flash Player may display corrupt blocks while playing some videos. Hardware acceleration or browser may stop while running more than one instance of Adobe Flash Player. If you are running a lot of Adobe Flash Player instances then it may result you with flickering videos. Some video problem might happen while playing SD or H.264 files.

What about your video settings? I did not faced such a problem until now. I have 5830 with Windows 7 and Firefox 3.5.5. I have not overclocked my GPU. Everything is to their default settings. Are you using the ActiveX or the normal flash player? I'm averaging about 5-8% cpu usage on 1-2 cores on an H.264 Youtube video.
