    How to rename batch pics

I would like to rename a series of pictures to put in another directory. How to rename hundreds of photos in Photo 001, Photo 002, etc way. Is there a way other than to rename them one by one. Do you know a program I prefer a free download which can easily rename a series of photos at once. It must provide sequence name and serial number without changing anything in the photos.

In Windows XP and later versions of Windows, it is possible to rename multiple files simultaneously via Explorer by selecting the files to rename, then pressing the F2 key. It is sufficient to give a new name and press Enter. All files will be renamed and followed by an incremented number. This one is the easiest way to rename series of file in Windows.

Why don't you try a software called Ant Renamer. This is a nice tool which allows you to rename a number of file and folders in instant clicks. This also allows you to change the extension of the file name also. You can replace a character by a string and generates tag mp3 also. You can also modify date and time at once.

I am using Lupas Rename software. It can rename files in recursive sub directories. The software is easy to use and it provides Shell Integration that means you can right-click a folder and change the file settings. Other than this you will also get a Find / Replace option. So you can find the file and replace that in once click. You can also insert characters before or after filename.

Just open a folder which contains the photos which you want to rename. Then select all the files by pressing Shift key. Click the first and the last image file for instant selection. Then right click on the blue box you and scroll through the menu item containing the rename. It is also possible to press the F2 key. You really only rename a single file to assign a title a little more talking to this series of shots.

Renames is a program which is quick and easy solution without having to rename a batch of files. It is easy to use and you can rename files with or without EXIF data. Thus the same is included in the name of information about the device, place or date of shooting. If your photos do not have these data, however, you can rename your files by adding a prefix and / or suffix, or a meter or numeric.

I use iView MediaPro that can batch rename all files. It is possible to rename and add other information like date, location and number of the picture. You can try a 21 day trial for the same. I also had just downloaded XnView and to test its function batch rename. It looks comprehensive enough and flexible enough, is that Rename offers more flexibility. Try this out.
