| Way to open Mac Pages files in Windows?
You need not to go back on mac platform, you can do it easily and quickly but you have to export the file in other format that takes some little bit time and would export into the suggested format that you need to do. Just export this in different format like Word, RTF, PDF and then save it as a .doc or .rtf or .pdf. If you need to open the files in Word then save those files as a .doc respectively ! |

| Re: Way to open Mac Pages files in Windows?
You require to just open the .pages document in winzip or winrar. In the case, .pages is a set of files. You will get entire things in winzip or winrar. And one of them is as .pdf. All you require to do the same. It retains entire text and, best of all, all the formatting. It will just grant you for the printing. However, if you need to modify it then that can be a little complexity to do it. You will have to download the appropriate program named as Pages Converter from the Internet and use it to work with the .xml file. You then be able to convert it into .txt file. |

| Opening the pages file on a PC
I am going to suggest you the proper way to open the files with the help of zipping tools. While winzip or winrar will work and according to me, I got a easiest fix : 1 - Save the documents onto the desktop location. 2 - Make right Click on the file and 'Rename' that. 3 - Amend '.zip' to the end of the file and press Enter key 4 - Just open the zipped directory and view components. That's all and I thin,it would be much helpful for you , try to do it... |

| Way to open Mac Pages files in Windows?
I am so glad that you all viewed my posts . And this is the absolute information that I required ...brilliant. I would say thanks to the members of this forums who helped me a lot for this . I just forgot to save in .doc format day before yesterday at my home, and unfortunately don't have permission to get to work on mac system. I unzipped the pdf from the .pages file with the help of winzip and then was capable to export the pdf to a .doc with the popular software known as Adobe Acrobat Pro. Currently, I am bale to get back on deadline. |

Yeah, This is not an ultra sensitive but all of the users at work and some of my friends also run windows. Actually, Pages formatted documents (such as all iWork docs) are not one files. The files are actually "packages" that suggests that they seems as a file in the Finder but in real format are a directory structure. To send the email a Pages file to somebody you need to first make to zip it then after you can perform any operations.... |
