MS Project 2007 Current date column

Im using MS Project 2007 Proffessional and want to add a column that shows the current date. Does anyone know how I can do this ?

Follow the below method to:

1. On the Tools menu, click Options, and then click the View tab.
2. In the Date format box, click the date format that you want to use.

• You can change the date format for a specific table (table: A set of columns that shows specific information about tasks, resources, and assignments in a sheet view.). On the View menu, point to Table, and then click More Tables. In the Tables list, click Task or Resource, click the table for which you want to format the date, and then click Edit. In the Date format box, click the date format you want to use. Click OK, and then click Apply.
• If you don't see the date format you want, use the Control Panel to change the date settings as needed.

Thanks for your thoughts James 911. Perhaps I'm doing something wrong but your solution isnt producing what I had hoped. I'd like a column that automatically shows the current date (the date in the column should change on a daily basis).

You can also try to do the following option: Tools / Options / Schedule / New tasks : Start on Current Date You could also insert the Created field : Insert / Column / Created. This will set the date Column to Automatically change to todays date. Hope this helps
