i had windows xp mce 2005 and everything was running good and i got a trojan virus now i cant connect to internet in normal mode but can in safe mode i have no install cd now and microsoft support says i need to get one but i dont want to buy one is there any way around buying a new windows xp 2005 media center edition install cd? i have all virusus removed please help me

Well, if you are running up fine then why do you need a new windows xp 2005 media center edition install cd? You said the viruses have been removed from your pc making your pc clean so I wonder why do you need the install cd anymore? If you want to buy a cheap one then try some sites like ebay or something that will offer you cheap windows install cd or else get it from microsoft only.

i have win xp5.1 2002 media center edition svc pk 3 microsoft said i need the operating cd where can i get that i think i erased alot of stuff removing the virus

In that case get the Microsoft Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005 SP2B for System Builders from amazon from here for $119.97. However, if you just want the operating system cd then you will have to buy the Windows XP OS directly from the microsoft site.
