    H.264 Encoding using StaxRip

    Hello to all,
    I am new to this forum. I have Compaq computer which has Windows xp installed in it. I have installed StaxRip in my computer to encode H.264 video, but I don't know how to use this to encode H.264 video. Can anyone tell me how to convert DVD/DVB and other video file formats to H.264 video using StaxRip. Please help me in H.264 Encoding using StaxRip.

    StaxRip is used to convert video formats to H.264. You first have to download this application in your computer. To get StaxRip click here.
    Before installing StaxRip first install Microsoft's .NET Framework version 2.0. in your computer.
    Now use following steps to install StaxRip in your computer.
    1.First go to the StaxRip.exe and start this program.
    2.Now go to the "Tools" menu -> now choose "External Applications".
    3.There you can check the installation status of the required software.
    4.Now just select each and every program listed and click on the download button to download all these program.
    5.Now press the "Close" button to close the External Applications window.

    StaxRip Encoding: Step 1 to 3
    1. Loading the Source :
    From the "Source" section load the video file that you want to convert.
    When you load any video file, StaxRip shows all it's information.
    2.Selecting the Profile :
    In this section you have to select your encoding profile, you can do this in the following way.
    First go to the "Profile" menu -> now go to the "Encoder" now go to the "x264" ->now select "More" now choose desired profile.
    3. Select Container
    Now select most common container format MP4. You can select in the following way.
    First go to profile -> container -> MP4

    4.Codec Configuration
    Now you have to configure x264 encoder. You can do this in the following ways.
    First click on the "Codec Configuration" option. Now select loop filter to 0:0(Alpha = 0; Beta = 0).

    5.Cropping Configuration
    This is optional step. You can view result by pressing "F4" key.

    step 6.Audio Configuration:
    When you first time load the source file, the audio file has been demuxed and save into the "Audio Configuration". Now from there you can adjust your audio file. You can also add new file to it. I recommended you to use AAC encoded audio for your MP4 format.

    7. Compressibility Check
    This steps is used to give you overview of an output quality that you are tried to set. Just start the "Compressibility Check" option to start the compressibility check.

    8.Resolution and File size Configuration
    In this steps you can set your file size and resolution. There are number of option available to set your file size like bit rate, width, length, etc.

    9. Container Configuration
    In this section you can add subtitle to your video file. You can also add chapter information to your video file.

    10. Preview or Cutting
    From this section you can check you video file by pressing the "F5" key or selecting "Preview" from the "View" menu.

    11. Start Encoding
    Now just press "start" button to start Encoding.
