Best emulator and drivers to make Final Fantasy 7 work

    Hey Folks,

I tried playing ps1 game on my pc using alchohol120 along with a emulator. But the quality such as its animation and sounds were not up to their standard. So, i would like to know that which is the best emulator with the latest drivers to make ff7 work on my system? Does any body knows about it? Kindly provide me the solution for the above issue.

    Thanks.

I think it will depend on your hardware what all stuffs you have on your pc. OpenGL2 plugin is the most feature enhanced plugin out there right now in the market. It also supports the ff7, which make your ff7 work on your pc.

I think you should go with ePSXe, as it includes the plugins in it. Following are the features for PSX Plugins

    • Video : Pete's OpenGL Driver 1.76
    • Sound : Null2's Audio Driver 1.3
    • CDRom : ePSXe CDR WNT/W2K core 1.5.2.

Hope so it may help you out.

    Hey all,

I downloaded FF7 and am trying to play it with ePSXe. When I run the game with the emulator I hear music and see all the opening credits but cannot get the game to actually start. I don't see any game menu. What have I missed?
