    Converting backgound image

    Hello,
To view a screen in a basic xdm, use software such as xv or qiv (much lighter) that modify the image screen command line. Once you figured out how it uses one or the other, you can just put in your order. loginrc or. bashrc and. cshrc .... following the system you use. I guess you know what these files perform in your operating system. If not then you can find more information on the same on your distributions official site.

    Hello,
I think you can search for the following software poxtra_102 xdm (X Display Manager) is a graphical interface used mainly for logging (as kdm for kde or mdkkdm for mandrake, gdm for gnome). xdm is really minimalist contrast to other cities. For any more problem, it must actually be in it .bashrc. I hope this information will help you.

    Re: Background image for xdm

    Hello,
    I think I managed. So I made a mix.
    Code:
In / Etc/X11/xdm/xdm-config I added at the end
Here is what I have done
    Code:
    DisplayManager._0.setup: / etc/X11/xdm/Xsetup_0
    then I created a file Xsetup_0
    Code:
    # / Bin / sh
    qiv-x / etc/X11/xdm/pixmaps/img.jpg-f-i
This setting worked for me, though I do not know that this file should be exactly like that.
