I think this is the issue of the Windows live movie maker software itself in your desktop with the Windows 7 operating system. I think reinstallation of the Windows live movie maker will resolve this issue. So download and install the Windows live movie maker compatible with the Windows 7 operating system. after that this issue will be fixed.

The MSWMM file types which you are trying to access using the Windows live movie maker caontains the links of the videos source files with which you have already worked and the clips of that video files are generated. The sequence of clips stored in the Workspace. For fixing this issue you have to again browse the original file and include it in your project file.

I think you have deleted the source video file or the whole project file with the MSWMM extension and because of which you are getting the error message 0x80070057. After that the Windows live movie maker shut downs and ask to restart the software again. So will advise you to again start the new project with the Windows live movie maker.

So check out for this issue. Browse for the proper Windows live movie maker project file and open that.
