Hello, I think you need to make use of the new Microsoft Office 2010 setup for getting the solution. As it may be possible that you are not having the right installation cd and that is why you are having the error message. So, it is simply needed to make use of the new installation source and then simply able to get the solution for your problem. It will simply solve your problem.

Hello, I would suggest you to simply make use of the safe mode for installing the Microsoft Office 2010 on your computer. As it may be possible that you are getting the problem due to the some or the other permissions. So, if you want to solve that problem then you will able to install the Microsoft Office 2010 on your computer. So, now simply press the F8 key at the startup and go to the safe mode and then you will able to get the installation of the Microsoft Office 2010.

    Hello, follow the steps below:
    • Click on the Start.
    • Then you need to click on the run and then open the run box and type the regedit command and then press enter.
    • Then you need to move to the following key:
    • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Image File Execution Options\mssdmn.exe
    • Then simply right click on the mssdmn.exe and open the permissions.
    • Check the permission for the registry subkey: Image File Execution Options, HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE and HKEY_CURRENT_USER.
    • Now you can install the Office 2010 without any problem.
