    Notepad is not responding

    Hi,

I have a windows 7 recently installed. The problem is that when I try to open a large text file with Notepad, the program stops responding (hangs). Then the only solution remain is to quit the application by pressing Ctrl + Alt + Delete button. Again I start notepad, the same problem occurs. Can you tell me why Notepad is not responding. See the error message in the below attachment.

Use to open large text files, use Wordpad. To do this, follow these steps. Click
    1. Start, point to All Programs, Accessories, and then click Wordpad.
    2. On the File menu, click Open.
    3. In the Files of type list, click Text Documents (*. txt).
    4. In the Folder box, locate the text file you want to open.
    5. Highlight the text file you want to open, and then click Open.

Whenever you open the Notepad you see a blank document. At the time of writing on it, works like any other text editor, simply place the cursor in the document and write. It is recommended to insert a new line for each new HTML tag, since it is easier to work this way. If we write all the code we often find it difficult to interpret, so it is preferable to insert the labels set separately, on different lines. Through the Format menu, Font option, you can change the font of the entire document. If you wish, you can point something bigger or smaller.

You could try repairing windows to reinstall it. Go to my right click computer, choose to study, c:\windows\options\cabs\setup.exe. if Double click setup.exe will start the process of reinstalling Windows, this only affects Windows system files. you should also Ctrl, Alt, Delete and close all ting, but outside of browser and system tray.

To resolve error message, Notepad is not responding. Go to Start> Run and type sfc / scannow - you need your Win 7 CD or will have to redirect the query to your i386 (hide all system files turn off, ie unchecked) to fix damaged Windows files, where you can found by scanning.
