In addition, when opening TIFF images or MDI (Microsoft Document Imaging) files, you receive the following warning message :
    • Some files may contain viruses or be harmful to your computer. It is important to ensure that this file is from a trusted source. Would you open this file?

You receive this warning message even when you've already implemented the registry key described in this article. This message comes from file HLINK.dll during navigation link is managed. You can distinguish the message hyperlink warning Office 2007 from HLINK warning message by looking for quotation marks around the file path in the warning message.
    Blessings to you

You can still receive a warning message from Microsoft Windows. If you continue to receive a warning message then follow the steps for disabling the option "Confirm open after download" for the file type you try to open :
    1. Double-click My Computer.
    2. In the Tools menu, click Folder Options.
    3. On the File Types tab, select the appropriate extension name (for example, WMV) in the Registered file types, then click Advanced.
    4. Uncheck the box next to Confirm open after download, then click OK.
    5. In the Options dialog box, files, click Close.
