Best Imaging Software for windows 8

Guys which is the best Imaging Software for windows 8? I used to use Windows 7 File Recovery but I am not sure if that will work with windows 8. I haven’t tried out any. I want to narrow down my search and pick up the best one rather than wasting time in testing available ones.

    Thanks in advance.

Windows 7 File Recovery doesn’t work with windows 8. I have tried using it, whenever I used to try restoring an image I used to get below error message.

"Failed to write (number of bytes) to disk at T1048576. Error=0"

God knows what that means. Currently I am using “Paragon Image Backup for Windows 8”. Its compatible and it works great with windows 8. If you want then you can check it out.

+ For Paragon Image Backup for Windows 8. It’s a simple backup tool with ReFS and Windows 8 support. You just have to launch the software, click on Backup, point the Backup Wizard to the partition you might be willing to image and you are done. There are some configuration options as well. If you want then you can configure them as per your desire. Once the imaging task is done you can saved it on network drives, a physical partition, or burned to CDs, DVDs or Blu-ray discs. Its key features are as followed:
Support Windows 8 and Windows Server 2012
Support brand-new ReFS (Resilient File System)
    Live Windows backup
    Flexible recovery

I will suggest you to try out “Acronis True Image 2013”. It’s compatible with windows 8. I have used it on windows 7 and it works great. It’s one of the best imaging software I have come across.

Acronis True Image used to work fine in windows 7. However, I have tested it out on windows 8 recently and for some reason it used to freeze the explorer. I had tried uninstalling and reinstalling it but I had no luck. Later I switched to AOMEI data backuper. It can be used for backing up, restoring, cloning and many other tasks. Its supports Windows 7, 8, Server 2008 R2, and Server 2012 (32bit and 64bit) . It’s available for free as well. Just make sure that you are downloading it from its official site and no third party site.
